So I hope you had a good night of rest because today is going to be a very beautiful – but busy – NYC day!
Breakfast, the most important meal of the day! Start your day at Cha Cha Matcha with a matcha latte and nutty banana oatmeal, a matcha croissant or a chunk of banana bread.
Then, take the metro (or walk) to shop at Bloomingsdale’s and visit Grand Central Terminal and the Rockefeller Centre.
Enjoy a healthy lunch at Dig inn.
It took us forever to find a nice lunch spot to enjoy a light lunch nearby 5th avenue. Eventually, we found this hotspot where a lot of locals pass by to enjoy a quick and healthy lunch. Somewhat after I got back home I noticed that a lot of bloggers and vloggers that are living in NYC also like this place.
Head strait to 5th avenue (shopping time!). Note that a lot of shops have a tax-free policy (including Louis Vuitton, H&M, …). Hence, that is something to keep in mind!
Chill for a while at the Public Library (warning: closes at 6 P.M.). I have this thing with libraries and universities. Soaking up the atmosphere makes me want to study, read, or write (haha ok maybe that’s weird). Anyway, let me know if you feel the same way about this kind of places.
Visit the Empire State Building and the Flatiron Building
Now it’s time for a cocktail (and gig) in The Flatiron Room. A bar that serves over 1000 whiskeys, bourbons, single malts, cocktails, live jazz & food. Be sure to make a reservation because this place is small and seats are thus limited. While sipping your cocktail, you can enjoy the twenties vibe and live (background) music provided by a local artist.
End your day at Times Square.
